Meet The Team
Fr. Colin Wen
Pastor
Fr. Colin was born and raised in Palo Alto, CA. He received his BA in Sociology at UC Davis in 2005 before spending a year in Los Angeles volunteering on skidrow. From there he discerned a calling to the priesthood, joining the Diocese of Sacramento. He was ordained in 2013 and has served in Grass Valley, Nevada City, Downieville, and Dixon. On July 1, 2014, Bishop Soto appointed him as Parochial Vicar at St. Vincent Ferrer in Vallejo. And on July 1, 2017, he was appointed as Pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Parish. In his time off he enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, reading, playing sports, and watching local sports teams.
Dan Olenchuk
Director of Evangelization
Dan grew up in Rescue, CA. He went to school at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, where he earned his degree in Early Childhood Education. He also met his beautiful wife Jennifer Olenchuk there. They have three beautiful children Elizabeth, Claire, and Dominic. They moved back to California in 2012 where Dan worked as a teacher and youth minister. He also worked as a Montessori teacher for four years. Dan loves working with parishioners from all walks of life and spreading his faith with all whom he meets.
